A primitive early 19th century console or dining trestle table from a vineyard in the Catalan region of Spain, circa 1820s, handcrafted of mélèze, a hard pine grown in mountainous regions. Having a sun bleached plank top resting on a trestle base joined by an "X" shaped stretcher, this rustic antique Spanish trestle table features a time worn patina and wear marks achieved from centuries of use. Perfect as a console or sofa table, it would also work as a dining table (we can make the height 30 inches) or desk, adding instant character and warmth wherever it's used. We have several similar tables from the same vineyard in various sizes.
