A beautiful French Limoges porcelain fish service, circa 1940s, consisting of twelve white dodecagonal shaped plates and a large white oval serving dish, all with gilt lace borders. There are six unique hand painted fish designs (two of each) on the plates and a large hand painted fish design on the platter. Handcrafted in Limoges, France, each plate is back stamped and fully marked with the Chatelaud maker's mark. The whole is in very good condition, with no chips or hairline cracks. A fantastic addition to any collection. Will display wonderfully in a cabinet and make any table look more elegant.
