Title

An exceptional pair of early 20th century French Louis XVI style console tables or side tables handcrafted of solid cherry in Paris and attributed to Maison Jansen, the distinguished French atelier, circa 1920s. This elegant pair of neoclassical tables features rectangular tops with Carrara marble inserts above a frieze having brass fillets with each housing a single drawer. Raised on four tapering cylinder stop-fluted legs with a brass foliate motif rosette and circular wooden collar terminating in brass sabots. Exhibiting clean lines that work in countless styles of decor, these rare console tables are fine examples of the high quality workmanship and style of this highly sought after Paris atelier.
