Title

A large rustic late 19th century Spanish refectory or monastery trestle dining table constructed of solid walnut in the Spanish Pyrenees mountains of the Catalan region, circa 1890s. Refectory tables like these were made for centuries by rural craftsmen featuring classic mountain construction with trestles. Having a rectangular plank top resting on canted trestle legs connected by a carved wooden stretcher with additional supports, this antique Spanish dining table retains its beautiful rich color and patina. Comfortably seats 10 to 12 with sturdy timbers able to withstand daily use for another century.
